Jack Frost Race Team Excels at U14 State Championships. As racers arrived at Seven Springs, worried glances at the race course showed a mixture of dirt and snow. Friday's training day was cut short due to the poor conditions. Unfortunately, a team member was injured during the practice (thank goodness nothing was broken). For the team photo, the team used skis to form the initial "M" in support and solidarity for a speedy recovery of their fellow team member.

On Saturday morning the smiles came out, as racer's awoke to vastly improved conditions, with snow covered hills and a bluebird day, which continued into Sunday. Congratulations to our 10 racers that made it to the State Championship. We are very proud of all of our racers achievements and excellent results.

The team had 8 racers finish in the top 30 and several racers received invitations for regional championships, including the U14 Eastern Championships at Sunday River, ME and the Francis Piche at Gunstock, NH. All and all it was a fun filled weekend with many highs (and a few disappointments, which also comes with ski racing). New friendships were formed and old friendships were strengthened, some that may last a life-time. Thanks to our skiers, coaches, parents and staff for making this a great season for Jack Frost racing!
